Bellows is an experimental online journal created by a group of students in Claudia Emerson’s class, “The Literary Journal: Professional Practice in Publishing and Editing.”
The editors of Bellows are dedicated to showcasing poetry, essays, and black & white photography from talented artists and writers of all experience levels and reputations. In limiting the journal to these three fundamental genres, we hope to retain a feeling of simplicity throughout; we also hope to encourage readers to explore the intricate detail and dualities exposed in these distinctive yet complementary mediums.
